A computer from a dream (tho/en)

I had a strange dream today. A fellow student received an MNT Reform laptop computer:

It was made of brushed aluminium, and was quite chonky -- as the real one. But the keyboard has been heavily customized. There were the regular keys present on all computer keyboards, but some had different shapes, sizes and colours, typically representing shortcuts in programs. I remember thin vertical ones, and also white 3D printed WASD keys, where the A, S and W were placed a bit lower than the rest. Probably for better gaming ergonomics?

The device ran Linux Mint as he said, also tweaked. A left aligned bottom dock was present and the overall theme was quite reminiscent of Windows XP / 7 skeumorphism, but in its own style: the app icons were set in square frames. All was set into a soft olive-green color.

I was tasked to install a Windows-only CAD program. No idea whether I managed to pull that off.
