These are some of my favorite artists and their works. I will keep adding more at the top of the page as I discover new music fields.

02 - furries, hardcore and blues (?) (2025-09-08):

This part is still in construction. I got a bit tired.

Halley Labs

or Lapfox Trax, or plenty of other such aliases are managed by em essex. They have produced so much music that it's hard to comprehend (and their music easily took over my humble offline collection). It is almost guaranteed you will get overwhelmed the first 20 times you look through their creations. The music is sorted by different aliases, each with corresponding identity, genre, characteristic tunes and lore. Oh yes, there is a separate wiki for them! I'm kind of sad I'm a bit late to their music, as physical releases were available only for a limited time after release, and it is impossible to find any resellers. That does not stop me from creating my own bootleg CDs though ;)

It takes a while (a couple days) to get used to the sound, so don't worry if you don't like what you hear at first. I started with Renard's Shounen Bass! (regular version).

Figurehead - The Queenstons
Prismatic - The Queenstons
SHOUNEN BASS TURBO! - Renard
NERVE'S ENDING - The Quick Brown Fox
*.WAV SLAVE - BANDETTO
MEGA MEGA MEGA MEGA MEGA - RQ
Mayhem - Rider Super-1
...
She's an Angel (Sensorium - Renard)
bouncy castle boogie (*.WAV SLAVE - BANDETTO)
晴天の霹靂 (WANDERLUST - The Quick Brown Fox)
Banned Forever (Daydream RMX) (SHOUNEN BASS! TURBO - Renard)
Going Back (feat. June LaLonde); Quiet Man; ... (Figurehead - The Queenstons)
Teacher, Preacher (Prismatic - The Queenstons)

Venjent

's next with his sick beats and the weirdest samples you can imagine. Including a cat, goat, door or the phone beep in your computer speakers and more. It's fun. My favorites include: Create Machines, Who's Got the Keys to my Strimmer?, Calling for You and Eldorado 2022.

Rad bop by the way.

I kind of found out about this author in relation to ZeWei's Laghari Portals. This music feels distinctly like it's from another dimension. If you have at least a super basic, beginner level understanding of music theory, you'll know that there are 12 tones in a typical octave. Now imagine there were 31! It feels magical the first time you hear it. The accompanying visuals to the Caftaphata song are next level too. And, additionally, it's also combined with visual explanation of the notes and chords, sentence structure + grammatical characteristics of their own conlang(s). Magical.

ZeWei

makes music that just... clicks. Do you know that feeling when the tones you imagine to follow up are there and it sounds just right? This is accompanied by frequent glitchiness and mixed in parts. After listening to all their albums, I found most music I listened to before a bit bland. I recommend listening with headphones or good-enough speakers for you to notice the deep bass and the sky-high treble. The lyrics are mostly in English, Japanese and various constructed languages (Solar, Martian, Neptunian...).This is the music that continues to give me energy and inspire me; that has gotten me back to piano playing and made me start learning Japanese and discover the well-hidden world of indie music gems.

Oh, and check out their Youtube channel, if you are interested in conlangs, great storytelling and worldbuilding (or even if you are unsure, I still recommend you have a look). There is an ongoing series about an interdimensional travel company!
